Every buffer violation reported to Buffer Watch gets a tracking number and a permanent row on this page — including whether EPD ever assigned it a CTS complaint number, and how long that took. Agencies can lose a complaint. A public log doesn't forget.
How this log works. Reports come in through the report form. We verify the basics, withhold the reporter's name, and post the report here with a BW number. When EPD assigns a CTS number, we add it. Status reflects the most recent information reported to us; corrections are welcome and posted. No-names policy: this log documents disturbances, locations, and waterways — it never publishes the names of individuals, contractors, companies, or property owners, and any submission naming a person is edited before posting or not posted at all. Buffer enforcement is about the activity, not the actor — that is how the statute itself works. This is citizen documentation, not an official government record.
